On November 27, four departments including Technology Department, Organization Department of the Party Committee, Department of Industry and Information Technology and Agriculture Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced the list of Innovation Consortium of the autonomous region recognized in 2023. A total of 6 consortiums in this region was selected, including the “Guangxi innovation consortium for live pig breeding and intelligent farming” led by Yangxiang Co., Ltd. which is the first innovation consortium in Guigang City that is recognized by the autonomous region.

            The innovation consortium, led by leading enterprises with strong ability to integrate innovation resources, will integrate the innovation resources of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, universities and research institutes, cooperate closely in terms of tackling problems in key technologies, establishment of innovation carrier platform and gathering high-level talents, promote the industrialized and large-scale application of scientific achievements, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain.

           In the face of current problems such as dependence on imports of core seed sources, poor production performance of live pigs and poor integration of Industry-University-Research Cooperation, Yangxiang Co., Ltd. will actively promote the establishment of the innovation platform of the consortium, build a technological innovation service platform, open up a path of rapid transfer and transformation of scientific achievements in the live pig breeding industry, promote the integrated development of the first, second and third industries of live pigs, and contribute to the high-quality development of the live pig industry.
